Lara Kordic, Founder of SO Succinct

SO Succinct is owned and operated by Lara Kordic, a Vancouver-based editor and writer. Lara began her career as a freelance editor shortly after completing her BA in 2000, and quickly found her niche in the field of international education. For over four years she wrote and developed textbooks for English as a Second Language students, for whom succinct reading material was not only desirable, but also necessary to their understanding.

In recent years, Lara has branched off into different areas of writing and publishing. She has edited academic papers, business manuals, promotional materials and books. Her writing has appeared in Western Living, GuestLife, and The Block magazines. In 2007, she earned her Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University.
